The LSRI and School of Psychology Summer Scientists Week was held from the 6th to the 10th of July. The week was a great success with more than 85 children aged between 2 and 11 visiting the Jubilee Campus.
Researchers from the LSRI and the Cognitive Development and Learning group in the School of Psychology ran studies investigating children's cognitive and motor development, food preferences, numeracy and literacy learning and understanding of social interaction.
In addition to taking part in research studies, the children enjoyed activities including face painting, origami, Wii and X-box games. For parents there were posters and talks about some of the University of Nottingham's research.
The researchers want to thank all of the parents and children who attended the event. See you all next year!
